Lifestyle Express retailers to benefit from bespoke EPoS solutions

Torex and Blakemore Wholesale and partner to build exclusive C-Store technology
Torex, the leading global provider of innovative technology to
the retail, hospitality and convenience and fuel markets, today
announces an exclusive agreement with Blakemore Wholesale to
provide bespoke EPoS solutions to retailers under its Lifestyle
Express banner.
Blakemore Wholesale service over 500 Lifestyle Express retailers
from 10 distribution centres. Its retailers will now be able to
choose from three options of Torex EPoS solution, entry level
Iridium Convenience Edition (ICE) and Iridium Prism for Convenience
or Convenience and Fuel retailers. The solutions have been
specifically tailored to meet the needs of a Lifestyle
Express retailer; ICE being suitable for those with a one or two
lane operation, and Iridium Prism for larger stores with multiple
lanes and service desks that want to exert more control over their
convenience and/or fuel business.
The choice of tiered solutions means that those under the
Lifestyle Express banner can enjoy the benefits of an EPoS without
a large initial investment. They are then able to build on their
existing solution to upgrade to a more advanced version as their
business grows. The solutions have built-in links to Blakemore
Wholesale giving stores the power to manage their orders, margins,
promotions and price changes automatically, as well as producing
Lifestyle Express branded shelf edge labels for the shop floor.
This also secures optimum pricing to satisfy customers who're keen
to know goods are being sold at the best price possible and to take
advantage of promotional offers. The Torex solution gives staff
access to back office information and reports allowing them to
manage their stock level more effectively, ensuring that shoppers
can rely on being able to find what they need on the shelf at all
times. By investing in technology that makes sales and stock
processes more efficient, Lifestyle Express members will be able to
spend more time with their customers and focusing on how to make
their store more profitable. Transaction times will also be faster
at the till, which will reduce queues.
